Do's and Don'ts

You have chosen us and are coming a long way to our center to get help to fulfill your dream of having a baby. There are a number of things you can do to prepare yourself for this journey. It is requested that you consider these suggestions so that we can maintain a peaceful as well as healthy environment for all the patients and their visitors. 

 

DO’S
  •   Carry two copies of your ID cards, passport, marriage certificate and your medical records with you and keep each of them in a separate bag.
  •    Email your medical records and questionnaires to our international patient’s coordinator before coming.
  •    Keep the respective contact details of the international patient’s coordinator during your treatment.
  •     Inquire about expected climate conditions during your treatment period so that you can pack accordingly.
  •   Prepare yourself with additional cash so that you don’t have to be worried about the expenses of any type of additional services or extension in the number of days for your stay. 
  •     Please make a note that you CANNOT use your credit card in Iran and should have enough cash for your treatment and other expenses. 
  •     Ask the international patients coordinator regarding any kind of additional travel or purchases that you have to do in Iran.
  •  Get travel insurance to avoid any losses while travelling.
  •   Always ask for a detailed discharge report along with a “fit to fly” certificate upon completion of your procedure to avoid any kind of issues in the future.
  •    It is very important to know that your international SIM cards do not work in Iran, so you have to buy an Iranian SIM card for local calls at the Imam Khomeini Airport (IKA) otherwise you cannot buy a SIM card anywhere else.   •   Due to new regulations, all mobile devices need to be registered in Iran Customs system, otherwise they would be blocked after 30 days. along with your current smartphone, please bring a mobile device worth less than 80$ so you can register it without paying any fee. Our IPD staff will be happy to assist you through this process.
  •   Please note that Iran is an Islamic country and Hijab is our obligation, so please bring scarfs with you and wear them when you enter the country.
DON’TS
  • Please don’t hand over any of your documents including passports, international ID or travel reports to any of the unknown persons during your travel as well as treatment.
  • Don’t indulge in any activity of trading money with unknown individuals. our IPD staff will provide you with any informaiton regarding money exchange in Iran.  
  • Don’t discuss about any of your medical conditions as well as treatment with unknown individuals during your travel and stay in Iran.
  • Please take into consideration that the use of Alchoholic beverage is forbidden in Islamic Republic of Iran.
  • Smoking is strictly prohibited in all the Hazrat-e Maryam facilities.
